Most of the day, you spend at your office. Even on holidays you have to attend to your office works. If the place gives you mental inconvenience, you cannot carry on your work as expected from you by the superiors. One of the main reasons, office may cause you mental inconvenience is your office enemies. When people do not smile, when they disrespect, pass unnecessary jokes, tell lies about you, hid what you need most, and simply do not think that you are there, managing your mental equilibrium in the office is not a simple task.
Therefore, it is highly important to avoid making enemies in the office if you need to reach the goals you set in your career life. How to avoid making enemies in the office is a problem for many people, since in whichever way they behave, there seem persons who do not approve their conducts. Nevertheless, for many people, everyone in the office is a friend. The office is the most joyful place in their lives. No one envies their progress and whenever possible they support these special persons to go up the ladder as much as possible.
Avoid making enemies in the office mainly depends on how friendly you are in the office. First of all, you have duties to finish at the office. While people around you are working, behaving as if you do not have any work may be a reason to make enemies at any place. Finish your work and help others to finish their work as well. Your commitment to work and your ability to work as a team nears you many colleagues.
Unless you are told, don't follow others gossips in the office. If you are told, don't say you don't like gossip at once but listen what you are told without showing intense curiosity to hear it since even though many do not like people who gossips, they like people who listen to their gossip. Smile with everyone in the office and do not side with a few people avoiding the majority in the office.
Respect your superiors and be friendly with them in the right way. Most appropriate way to get friendly with your bosses is to avoid telling lies. Make meeting with your bosses in which you can show your knowledge in works and ideas that enable them to develop the place to a better one. When you cross others' jurisdiction, do so with their permissions. No one likes persons who try to middle with others' works without having consents of the relevant persons.
Avoid keeping illegal affairs in the office. You can make as many as enemies if you are a person who does not respect common interests of other people's lives. Respect freedom of others as well as help them in advancing their carriers in the office. Don't make personal criticism unless they really need to be made to carry on office duties. Frequenting to superiors' cubicles and showing off that you are a special man from others never helps you to avoid making enemies in the office.
