Muscat, March 05, 2013: Bank Sohar, as a constant supporter of health related initiatives, sponsored the National Nephrology Conference organised by the Ibra Hospital on February 28, 2013. The conference was held at the Large Hall of Educational Supervision of Ibra under the patronage H.E Dr. Mohammed Al Hosni, the Secretary of Ministry of Health for Health Affairs.

The National Nephrology Conference was held under the patronage H.E Dr. Mohammed Al Hosni, the Secretary of Ministry of Health for Health Affairs, and was attended by over 400 participants including medical sector staff from the various governorates of the Sultanate. Bank Sohar sponsored the Hospital in an effort to support this valuable cause and as part of its social responsibility towards the community.
The aim of the conference was the successful exchange of information and experiences concerning the diagnosis, treatment, medication and surgeries in relation to Nephrology and to raise awareness of the field in the society.
