Muscat, May 18 (ONA)--- The total passenger traffic (including transit & transfer passengers) through Muscat International Airport has increased by (22%) to (2,482,449) passengers ending April 2012 compared to (2,040,917) passengers for the same period of 2011.Statistics show an increase in the arrival passengers by (23%) to (1,271,471) passengers ending April 2012 comparing to (1,032,066) passengers for the same period of 2011.
The number of departing passengers has also increased by (20%) to (1,172,540) passengers ending April 2012 comparing to (978,745) passengers for the same period of the year 2011.
