Muscat - As part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, the Oman Gas Company (OGC) recently organized a blood donation drive at its regional office in Mabella. The initiative witnessed the enthusiastic participation of employees working at all levels in the OGC.

The blood donation drive is a periodic activity organised by the OGC in support of the Ministry of Health’s charitable initiatives. The company recognizes that blood donation is the responsibility of every healthy individual and therefore the objective of this drive was to engage the employees for the cause of good health.

The OGC has always been committed to the cause of giving back to the community through meaningful initiatives. The Blood Donation drive is one such activity under their many CSR programmes which are organized on a regular basis to encourage and foster the spirit of ‘giving back’ to the community.

OGC is the main gas transportation company in Oman delivering natural gas to the vibrant economic sectors and major consumers comprising of Domestic, Power and Desalination plants, Fertilizer, Methanol, Petrochemical, Refinery, Steel and Cement plants.
