Salalah, May  (ONA) --- FlyDubai will inaugurate this Tuesday its flights to the Governorate of Dhofar in a step that will contribute in enhancing the economic and tourism traffic, especially that the Governorate of Dhofar is preparing for Khareef season.

FlyDubai will operate three weekly flights to Salalah, which will allure the tourists, residents and businessmen in the United Arab Emirates "UAE" to visit Salalah and enjoy its extraordinary weather.

Launching the flights comes within the promotional plans for the tourism in the Sultanate, which coincides with Salalah Tourism Festival 2013, in addition to activating the tourism traffic among the GCC countries.

An agreement worth (RO 50) million was signed at Grand Hyatt Muscat, between Sohar Free Zone Company (SFZC), Steele Moore Company and Teejan Group to establish a joint venture.

The agreement was signed on behalf SFZC by Sheikh Sa'ad bin Mohammed al-Mardhouf al-Sa'adi, Chairman of the SFZC Board and Eng. Jamal bin Tawfiq Aziz, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Free Zone and on behalf of Teejan Group by Hamad al-Harassi, Chairman of the Board and Mark Kay Clough for Steele Company.

Eng.  Jamal bin Tawfiq Aziz said that this agreement is an important step in the development of Sohar Technical Complex, as Teejan started developing the complex to match the opportunities of incentives provided by Sohar Free Zone.  The South African Steel Moore is the first tenant in this complex, as Teejan Group run the initial stage with 10 hectare to further development of its position in the Sultanate.

DUBAI, U.A.E., 11th April 2011: Shanghai, the most populous city in China, is set to join Emirates’ expanding list of Airbus A380 destinations, when the superjumbo begins its non-stop service from Dubai on 27th April 2011.

Shanghai will be Emirates’ third destination in Greater China to welcome the Airbus A380, following the launch of the aircraft to Beijing on 1st August 2010 and Hong Kong on 1st October 2010.
