Debt-burdened carrier Bahrain Air grounded all flights yesterday after announcing plans to shut down operations amid struggles to rebound from the Gulf nation’s unrest-driven downturn and competition with bigger rivals.

Manager Information Technology Security & Standards (908)

Minimum 10 years in IT networking & data security domain.

Establish and develop the security policies and procedures for the company in order to ensure highest level of system security and implement the security programs developed
Provides direction and supervision to the staff assigned to the Security & Standards groups; develop, plan and implement goals and objectives and assists with strategic plan relating to the network infrastructure for Oman Air.

Educational Qualifications

Graduate degree in any discipline preferable
Minimum 5 years airline experience
Experience as Senior Flight Supervisor of a reputable airline preferable
Train-the-Trainer Certified preferable

Good Understanding of overall business function is essential

Conduct service training courses as scheduled using high standards and techniques, in accordance with the needs/ demands of the Cabin Crew Operations Section and external customers.

Prepare relevant assessment tools to evaluate trainee’s achievements in coordination with Manager In-flight Service Training

Structural Design Engineer - Muscat. (1734)

Required Skills for the incumbent:

Work knowledge with MBMA, AISC, BS 5950 is mandatory
Knowledge of design software such as STAAD.Pro, Ram Connections, PROKON, and AutoCAD.
Quick Primary estimation of structural steel with optimized steel weight is preferred.
PEB Knowledge is preferred
X steel/ Strucad knowledge is preferable.
